Governed?/Top Speed

OK, I understand what you are saying, but I dont know what speedometer it has. I only saw the car once, and I dont remember. Is there anything in the VIN that I can use to figure out whether it had them or not? Im not trying to be annoying, its my fault for not wording my questions clearly. Thanks for trying though.

If it came with the Z rated tires, you have the 150 mph speedometer. If it didn't, it came with the 120 speedo.

I have a 94 Z28 convertible with an LT1 which according to these threads is governed at 108 mph. It has the 115 mph speedometer. I would like to change this to the 155 speedo and what like to know what all that entails. I assume the speedometer has to be re-calibrated and of course I need to have the governor removed, right? I am new to Camaro's so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
