err i dont think so my 97 V6 has gotten up to 130( EDIT: was locked down on the odmeter at 125 and still was climbing in rpms)and was still kickin it.

 

how high were your rpm's at that speed?

 

i took my 94 Z28 to 150, then ran out of road but she was still pullin pretty good

 

it was at like a close 5.5k rpm's in 5th gear i think idk im to scared to try that again....

 

Is there anyway to find out if the car came with z rated tires. The car I would want to know about is a 95 Z28, 6spd.

 

If it came with the Z rated tires, you have the 150 mph speedometer. If it didn't, it came with the 120 speedo.

 

i took my old 94 z28 to 146 and my 96 v6 to about 130 i would think since it runs out the v6 was an auto and 94 a stick

 

well, thats what I don't know. I am looking at buying a Z28, but it doesn't have stock tires. Is there another way to tell if it came with them when it was bought?

OK, I understand what you are saying, but I dont know what speedometer it has. I only saw the car once, and I dont remember. Is there anything in the VIN that I can use to figure out whether it had them or not? Im not trying to be annoying, its my fault for not wording my questions clearly. Thanks for trying though.
