got my camaro, few issues
I strongly agree with Failed, spark plugs are almost always bad when you buy these cars. No one pays attention to that side. I forgot about that, good point FD. But that could exactly be it.
To check your fuel pump, be in a quiet area and turn the key to the on position but dont start it. You can usually hear the fuel pump being activated. If you dont hear anything at all, then that could be a possibility. If you dont hear well to begin with, have someone with good hearing put their head in the trunk and listen as you turn the key.

Somehow I feel like you got ripped off. If you're saying they had you trade your Mustang plus $2500 to get this car, I really feel like you got ripped off. I can find good condition 3.4s in my area for $1500-2500 and the 3.8s are usually in $2800-3500 range.
test the fuel pressure. needing to turn the key on and off to get it to start sounds like its not primming up to pressure the first time. if fuel pressure is low that could account for the rich condition. yah i know it sounds strange but low pressure can cause it to run rich as much as high fuel pressure.

Do i need to probably replace fuel pump or something?
like i mean if i have a fuel pressure problem, which i think i do, do i need to get a new fuel presure regulator or what?
also, would the lucas fuel treatment help fuel pressure problems?

My 3.4 needs a fuel pump, and it does what you mentioned about not starting on the first try. I just turn the key on and off a few times to give my, on the way out, fuel pump more time to get the pressure up to start the engine. If you do end up needing a fuel pump consider the "trap door" mod without it you have to drop the tank to get the fuel pump out.
thanks guys, yeah the a-zone guy said my fuel pump is working okay from his ear in the gas tank, ill get the pressure tested today.
He said if the fuel pressure is low its probably needs a new filter which is a cheap fix. so i should be good then right?

also i hear u can take it to a-zone and they can use a gauge to check ur fuel pressure, i actually did try this yesterday but the guy couldn't find the fuel rail, can anyone show in a pic where the fuel rail is on 95 camaro 3.4l?
its actually under your intake manifold. there is a bunch of hoses over top for the pcv valve. if you look under the intake manifold from the left of the throttle body, you can see the spots where the injectors go in.
Heres a picture for you.
