im having trouble getting my car into gear. i can get it in 1-4 but 5,6 & reverse is impossible to get into.it happened suddonly one day and hasnt gotten any better. i replaced the master cylinder and slave cylinder, so its fine. the clutch was replaced about 10000 miles ago and i had the syncros replaced a year ago. anyone have a clue what to try next???

 

try double clutching, see what happens.

 

Have you checked the oil level? Well, syncro's is one thing, but that's not all that's in there. It might be your syncro assembly. I think your gonna have to take it apart to see what's really wrong if oil is not the issue.

 

+1, my bet is the syncros/syncros assembly. My 5.0 has that problem in 4th/5th gear, and sometimes reverse.

 

I have a similar problem with my 2002-SS. Very often it happens that when I try to get start from a signal I have hard time to get into 1st gear. I have try atleast few times VERY HARD to get into 1st. And sometimes I have same problem getting into 2nd... anybody aware of this problem? is it 'coz I dont know how to drive [&:]or problem with anything else??????????????

 

i figured it out.... i destroyed my clutch.. all i have to say is "nitrous" lol.
