fuel issues
i have a 1996 chevy camaro LT1 v8 engine and i cant get fuel to the engine for some reason i checked the fuel filter and i checked the wires going to the fuel pump and its not sending enough power to make the fuel pump kick on for long it wont build up pressure. i unhooked the fuel line to the fuel filter to see if gas would come through it or not and it only trickles out
PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I guess you need a new pump. Unless the engine is running, the PCM will turn off the pump within two seconds to prevent flooding. However; check the voltage at the pump when it is running to see if you are getting the full 12 Volt. If not, there is a high resistance in the circuit to the pump making the voltage drop.
well the thing is that i cant get my car to start thats what led me to beleave that it was either a distributer or fuel pump problem but i have to turn the ignition on and off several timesjust to build up enough gas to get it to spit and sputer then stall, if i just turn it over once and try to get it to start it wont it just turns over but wont start do u think it is the fuel pump or distributer?
Put a gage on the fuel rail, turn the ignition key On & Off several times quickly. If the pump is working the fuel pressure should go to 40 -50 PSI and hold. If it doesn't not go up, the pump is either bad or not getting power. There is a fuel pump test connector hanging loose near the top of the right front wheel housing. Connect 12 Volt from the battery to the test connector and the pump will be forced on continously, bypassing the pump relay which is controlled by the PCM.

well the fuel pump is getting power and the engine is getting plenty of fuel however it wont stay running i have to keep hitting the gas for it to stay running but i scrubed a few ground connections around the engine and sprayed some carb cleaner in the air intake and iac valve (i beleave its called that i think) andnow it will idel butwhen i trie to rev the engine quickly the tack drops about 200 rpms and then shoots up and it hesitates. there is a few cracks in a vaper line would that suck air and couse it run rough any help would be much appreaciated
i replaced all of the spark plugs and wires and it is still running bad, it will idel but barely and sometimes when i try to rev the engine up to like 3000 and keep it there it will slowly drop and the engine will stall please help
