I am no genius by any means, but I do know how to SEARCH the internet. They do the OBD-II testing in certain areas. Why do you want to delete the EGR?

If you delete it, and do not program the codes out, you may fail. I am not sure if they check it in a visual inspection. All I can tell you is what is on that site.

If you have to pass a visual inspection you will fail. Federal Law states it is illegal to remove or relocate any factory installed emissions control equipment. There has to be some other place for you to mount your catch can...why do you need a catch can?

So im not pulling all that crap back through my throttle body that PCV system isn't that great.
And where the EGR is mounted on the block is a perfect spot to bolt on the catch can.

"All that crap"? The PCV system should be pulling out crankcase fumes for venting purposes. If you're sucking out oil and crap, you have engine problems.

Usually the only time you need a catch can is when you're running a forced induction setup and you have oil blow-by. I agree with 69, if you're having oil issues from your PCV system you need to get it checked out.
