Default fuel issues

The last little while I have had a harder time cold starting. Has anyone encountered bad fuel? I run a 302ci, 30-30 cam, 11:1 comp pistons and use premium fuel. I did notice that the fuel I had did go "stale". ( I keep jerry cans of premium fuel)
As I live in Canada, we are at the end of driving for the year and thinking of draining old fuel and topping up with some av gas for storage.

Any comments, ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Add Stabil to the fuel and run the car for a few minutes so it mixes in the tank and gets to the carburetor. I do that with my motorhome and lawn mowers and never have a problem with stale fuel.
I bet your cold start issue is choke related. Have you verified that it is working properly?

might have to upgrade to 100 or more octane with 11:1 comp usually rule of thumb is no more than 10.5:1 with best premium available!!!
