Fuel injector questions
I've got gas in my vacuum line, so I will be changing my fuel pressure regulator soon, which means the fuel rail and injectors need to come off.
My questions are: Should I just replace the two o-rings on the injectors, or should I get the whole seal kit with the pintle cap and spacer? Also, is there a way I can clean and test the injectors, or do I have to take them somewhere?
Thanks.

I would go ahead and replace all of the o rings, since they are cheap and you are already there. and you would have to take them somewhere to get the tested. I wouldnt worry about that
I do have some seafoam already. So just soak the whole injector in some seafoam? The figured it might not be a bad idea to get the injectors tested since I just hit 150k miles recently.
Does the spacer and that pintle cap usually go bad? And does it matter what brand o-rings I get?

look around and see if you have an injector shop close. doesnt take long to get them cleaned and flow tested. cost like 10 or 15 bucks each. sent mine ups to a place called doctor injector took three days to get em back.
I have another question for you Craby.
I seem to remember reading a thread where you mentioned you can check if an injector is leaking by pressuring the system with the injectors out and a piece of cardboard under them. Can you get them out without disconnecting all the fuel lines, vacuum hoses, unplugging the injectors and other misc. components? Or do you have to take it apart then reconnect to check for leaks? How can I safely do this?
Thanks
