Default Floor vents and defrost work but not the panel vents? HELP!

I have a 1994 3.4 V6 and Im having problems trying to fix the vents. I've read a couple thing off the internet but with no luck. I dont really know a lot about cars but Im working on it! What could possibly be wrong? And what would be the easiest way to fix them?

Replace the vacuum check valve. Over time they crack causing a vacuum leak. Does your car also kind of idle rough? it causes that also. When the vacuum system has a leak it tends to draw the air into your floor and windshield vents. It's a small black canister located up and to the left of your alternator. it has 3 lines connected to it. unplug all the lines(Carefully) and see if it's cracked or damaged. If so replace it.Here is the link to the check valve I bought.

I replaced the vacuum check valve but that didn't work, the old one did have a small crack in it so maybe I have another leak somewhere? No I can't switch from floor to defrost, it just blows out both of them.
