I may have a leak not sure. I took cardboard and put it under my car last night. I woke up took it out there was one spot. But I think it was my power steering. It dint smell like oil. So really I have no idea where my oil is going

 

what color was it? power steering is the same as auto tranny fluid. so it should be red.


as to the original post i check mine either when its cold after sitting overnight or a couple of hours. i change my oil though when its warm because the oil flows better out of the pan.
