I have the bose 5 speaker system and i was wondering if anyone knows that rms/max watts the amps are pushing? Ive tried to contact Bose but they just tell me that the info is car specific therefore they cant give me that information. anyone else have any luck finding these numbers?

 

I dint know for sure is guess somewhere round 10-15rms.

 

if thats the case then since i have a aftermarket HU that puts out 50wx4 would that add to the total output? so instead of 10-15w it would be 22-27watts?

 

No. It's one or the other.

 

If I remember correctly each door speaker has its own 50 watt amp. The 2 speakers in the sail panel along with the woofer are powered by a 300 watt amp that sits in the trunk.
