Audio Help Please :)
My buddy blew my Monsoon system a few months back.
When he did it it Blew the two doors...and the sail panels just quit working altogether. I replaced the two door speakers and they crackled and popped very anoyingly if I went even the least bit loud. I tried both 4ohm Infinity References and 2ohm Cadence Components and both Crackled. This lead me to believe that the Monsoon AMP was blown. So I got a new one today lol.
I plugged in the Monsoon AMP and the Sound is 1000X better!! Except the FRIGGIN right side of my car doesn't work now...!!!
So, sound sounds great out of the left side of my car with the Infinity 4ohm in the Door...but no sound whatsoever out of the Right side with the Cadence 2ohm in the door..
So why would the Right side of my car not work all of the sudden with a New Amp?
Any help is REALLY appreciated, I'm so sick of dealing with this lol.

This is just a guess, but the stock amp may not work with 2 ohm speakers. Another problem could be the head unit itself. I would try one of the 4 ohm speakers on that side and see if that works. If it doesn't, then could be the amp, doubtful since it's new, or the head unit.

Figured it out....almost too embarrassed to say anything lol.
The old Speakers had 4 input wires going into them and my new speakers only had two inputs. I ran the two +'s to the + on the speaker and the two - wires to the - input on the speaker. So basically just twisted the Pos's together and the Neg's together.
Well One set of Pos and Neg was for the Tweets...and the other set was mids...so the Popping and Cracking was the bass trying to come through the tweet.
So since my new speakers are a component set, I just split the wires back up.
The Cadence 2ohm Component sets sound GREAT in the doors...will probably stick them in the sail panels as well. Only 2ohm Components I can find under $100. Polk has two sets of 2ohm Components but one is $199 and the other was $299
Thanks for the help though!
