I painted my tips black. I'll tell you from experience that they won't be black for long. They collect a lot of dust and crap that is virtually impossible to get off unless you just keep adding paint and clear coat. Good luck with your project. And if you do use high heat paint on your tips, like i did, have fun respraying them once every few weeks.

You did say you will see the silver rims and tags.. you could just get them nice n polished and have 1 more silver accent. Might be a little easier. Plus as chaotic said, youd have to constantly repaint and clear them. But if you are determined to black them, go for it.

If you're going to do it, have it done professionally. It will be more expensive, yes, but you will thank yourself later. Have them powder coated. That will be SICK!!!

or get turndown tips and tuck um upward more so u cant even see any tips
