Default exhaust advice

Hey guys, i am looking into getting a catback exhaust for my 99 z28 vert. I was just wondering if anyone has and reccomendations and why. I want something loud but still clean, and also good performance bang for my buck. At this point, I think magnaflow would probably be my best bet because of the price, but if anyone knows of anything that would be better for around the same price let me know. I do want to also get a catted y and long tubes in the future after I save the money so if there is an exhaust that would work well with that setup, that would be better. Thanks.

probably the # 1 question asked on this forum. Do a search and you'll finds dozens of threads and opinions and there are tons of youtube clips of LT1 f bodies and their exhaust

it's a personal choice so good luck

I personally believe that Borla makes the best catback. My friend has a 04 GT with Borla stingers catback, an x pipe, and the cats cut out. I used to hate mustangs, but after hearing it, i have a new found repsect for mustangs. Which makes me wonder how good that setup would sound on a z28 Im not for sure if you can get a x pipe though.
