i just bought a 96 camaro Z28 about a 2 months ago it just started messing up it smell like it running rich and it tries to die out while driving it sometimes but not always i had it dieonce while driving then sometimes at idle once it wouldnt even start for a while it just flooded the engine with gas im guessing i need to do a tune up new plugs and wires?

 

If you're having that much trouble I would check into sensors as well. Is the SES light on?

 

nope no SES light is on or i would of ran codes already

 

my 95 z did the same exact thing, and wouldnt even put a ses light on. i replaced plugs/wires/coil/and fianlly went threw a couple of optisparks. in the end it was just the optispark. i would have it looked at.

 

and go get urself a msd optispark, i replaced it with the stock one and it went to **** agian, the msd fixed my problems...
