Default Edelbrock shorty's

I'm looking at putting edelbrock shorty's on my 2002 ss camaro. The problem is they have two versions both fitting my car. One set is ceramic the other set is got a diffrent finish it's tri- something i can't remember what is.oh well, looking for any suggestions on which to get. I'm tying these into a magnaflow cat-back exhaust system.any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

shorty headers will do very little for hp gains. look nice and all but dont do much. u need to pick up the long tube headers if u are looking for more power. ltheaders sound better too. anyways if u are goiing with shortys the ceramic coating is good for controling exessive heat in the engine compartment.

I was told that the long tubed headers are a real pain in the a__ to install not to mention trying to fit the magnaflow system to the headers there is alot of modification. Unfortuantly i don't know because i have never put headers on a 2002 ss camaro.

heres a install of long tubs on a 02. slp's im thinking its so easy because the car is on a rack lifted more than high enough. yes they are a pita but if u want the power it will take some sacrifice. i think the y pipe and cat setup is important to line up exsisting exhaust to it. if u want the sound and a couple extra hp then the sorty headers will help there.
