Default Do I need a molded heater hose?

I want to replace this hose on my 95 3.4 because it is leaking where it is pieced together.

The hose curves on both ends kinda like a U-shape
So do I need a molded hose, or could I just buy a regular straight hose and curve it myself? I don't want the hose to get in the way of the belt or kink up or anything.

I plan on using this tutorial: 4th Gen LT1 F-body Heater Hose R&R
This way I won't have to replace the entire assembly.

would be better to get a bent hose if available, if not your ok using standard heater hose. don't use a tight bend that will kink.

Thanks! I went ahead and installed the regular heater hose. As far as I can tell, it's working fine and won't be a problem anymore
