Default Desperate need

Hey guys and gals i am in desperate need of a new rear end or new gears for my current one. i have a 1993 z28 and my rear end went out my father in law bought one off of a 1999 but none of the mounts match up. can some one tell me if i can use the axles and gears out of that one and put them in the one on the car or what?

really,,, thought they all mounted the same. are they both 10 bolt? i guess i need to do some more reading, u could probly do it but its a very touchy thing to do. its very easy to get it wrong. get the tape measure out and do some comparing. have u looked around to see if u can find one that will fit and do a trade maybe? 93s are a different car than any other camaro in many ways but im thinking a 94 and 95 at the least should fit. the sensors for the traction control and antilock breaks change somewhere along the line and i am not sure how or if the 93 can be adopted.

best i can find is the 93 to 97 are interchangable and thats from a quick search and read so take it for what its worth. lol. found a drum brake one for a hundred and a 93 z28 disk brake with 3yr warenty for almost a grand. a 12 bolt that i am looking at for my z is close to 2500 from spohn. there is a 96 on here in the for sale section thats being parted out.

The only difference is whether or not the car had a mount for a speed sensor in the differential (non-TCS cars) or one for each wheel (and thus no mount on the actual dif housing).
