Default Cut this wire during the swap, where does it go?

So I cut this wire (see below) during my swap, and I have no idea where the other wire went so I could splice it back into place
Does anyone have an idea of what it is, what it does, and where it goes? Thanks!
(The orange wire on the black connector)

Im not exactly sure where it comes from but it is located on the steering column near the base. I think SH box references it as something with the ignition switch.

thats what i am seeing, its on the c2 connector to the ignition switch. i just cant seem to find any diagrams that show what the heck its for. all the orange wires im seeing in the book show they go to the fuse box for power.

I show it as C1(a) at the ignition switch. Here's a diagram, and a pic of the C200 where it goes. Between the two you should be able to pick it back up. This is from a 93 manual. I see on your build thread you're swapping in 97 stuff but I think this is the same.

Well I found the orange wire that was MIA in the harness, I butt connected it back together and most of my lights work again! Thanks for the diagrams craby.

The odd thing is that only my front turn signals and flashers work but not the rear. While the brake lights and reverse lights work fine. Is the bulb from a 97 for the turn signals a certain bulb? Because they arent coming on when I turn the signals on.
