2001 camaro standard

so i found this car and i already talked him down to about $2400 only bad that i see is its a v6 instead of a v8 which is disappointing for me but oh well. My buddys have a 08 suburu legacy bmw 325 and im just trying to keep up with them so knowing that it isnt a v8 how could i make this car perform like one?

It will cost you twice as much to make a 3800 as fast as a Lt1-V8 then it would cost you to buy a car with a Lt1 in it. If you want to go fast buy a V8. Heck by the time you add headers and an exhaust and a CAI to the V6 you could have bought a V8.

Dont waste your time on a V-6. Gorn said it right.... youll be dollrs ahead starting out with an LT-1 car. Dont be hasty!

okay so i got this camaro and im happy with it but theres some things that are wrong with it.the most important is the ignition switch problem. when i go to start the car and i turn the key all the way on it stalls out sometimes, is this due to a bad ignition? and if so what ignition is the best and cheapest option thanks! There is a lot to tearing down a steering column. The GM shop manual will have a lot of details also you could try Youtube for GM column repair or rebuild.

The column is very puzzle like. You can get it to go together wrong and you will be "redoing" it. Luckely the Key cylinder is only about half way in so you don't have to pull the whole column, just a little passed the turn signal switch. In fact if you search turn signal switch replacement that would get you most of the way there.

its a 94 and i just want to make sure that this is the problem and im not buying random parts. A Video of this would be nice but if not accessible i will just read. I just want to make sure its not anything like a dirty MAF or something.
