Does anyone know of a website that will tell me what cars have the same engine parts as my camaro? I need a head for a 3.8 series 2

 

Any 3.8l head from 96 up will fit. Just keep your valve covers. If you look in the v6 section you'll find a sticky with engine comparability for 3.8l engines.

You can use any head off of any Vin K (L36 engine) from 95-05, but the Vin 2 (L26 03-09) engine you can use but will have to change them as a pair since the intake valves are .030 larger.

will that vin k be constant with any chevy 3.8 or just the camaros?

 

Read the link that BC posted that will tell you the GM vehicles you can get the 3800 engine out of (which means heads too)
