Farely new to the Camaro scene. (2 weeks) Just bought a 2000 V6 and came across alot of threads hyping the Whisper lid so I grabbed one for 50 pesos on ebay. But in my excitement I realized that he posted it for the V8 and I'm praying that they are compatible??? I know the V8 is obviously a bigger and longer motor but I'm hoping the air systems are similar. Anybody wanna give me the good/bad news? Thanks

 

There are two different Whisper lids for the V6 depending on year, and a different V8 one... See:

The difference is the positioning of the opening between the two.
