Hey everyone, I’m new to this forum, I just bought an 84 camaro (not the starwars kind), and I’m stripping and replacing the interior. I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to which backseats might be compatible with a 3rd gen from newer cars. Maybe GTO backseats, or I hate to even say, but maybe the newer mustang backseats. I really don’t want to buy a replacement set that’s old and ratty. I can do a little fabrication to make the seats fit, but no major welding. Any ideas?

 

Just buy a complete set of 4th gen Camaro/Firebird seats and theywill just bolt with no modifications. Forget the seats from other car models because they will not work.

 

4th gens fit perfect in 3rd gens? Sweet deal, guess that'll work. Thanks.

Thoes two front seats look stock, I like it. Thats proabably the route I'm going to take.
