alright, well I am taking the Maro to my mechanic to do a pressure test on it and flush the radiator for me since I wont have enough time to do it for a lil while. I just wont be able to deal with a head gasket issue...if it is my a$$ will be chapped.

its hard to think that alot of the newer camaros have over 100,000 miles on them (my 97 included 103,000) but im more astonished that alot of the older camaros (1st gen) seem to more than likely have less miles. my 68 only has about a little over 40,000 original miles on it. also my grandfathers 55 chevy just turned over 100,000 miles on the frame and body, (running gear changes almost every year)

It's generally a good idea to do wires along with plugs. Spray the butterfly valve and clean any varnish off. According to the Owners Manual, Manual transmission fluid doesn’t require change. Run a few tanks of fuel system cleaner. Might want to change the O2 Sensors if not done before. Diff fluid top-off or change is a good idea.

My SS is ~98k, RS is ~70k...

Alot of these cars also roll back to 0 once they hit 100000 so it's hard to tell how many miles are on it. Plus back then people didnt have to drive so far for work or they car pooled with someone else.

thanks Liberty, I was gonna do MSD wires with ngk55 plugs. from what i have seen you need to have plugs that resist heat better then stock plugs.
