Question bout LB9???

Default Question bout LB9???

how much is reasonable to pay for and 85 lb9 if i could find one or what else could i go with suggestions???

i have an 85 iroc z with an lb9 but it needs work and i wanted to know if i bought one say off someone how much would be reasonable price to pay or what other engine would fit and maybe be better off if any?

Better question...If the present engine is shot, I would not replace it with another 305. I would upgrade to a 350 long block crate and use all the external LB9 FI parts. you will need need new 22 # FI, knock sensor and a 350 prom and some small misc. items.
Do a lot of reseach, a ton of info on the 305 TPI to 350.

not totally shot but its seen a couple days just tryin to decide if in the long run it would better just to replace with new instead of fixing all thats broke or needs work im new to this

If it is nothing major, I would go ahead and repair it. Nothing wrong with a 305 TPI LB9.

well i just finally got my job and im lookin to start dumpin money into her in camaro central a good place for parts? and do you know any other good priced places?
