Angry Cars bout to hit 100,000k

Alrighty the time is almost upon the Maro, I have about 800 miles till she hits 100k on the odometer. I have been calculating my gas mileage with the prices being sky high and all, I am currently getting about 12-16 mpg (city&highway combined) I am figuring she needs a tune-up, I have had the car 3 years but I have only put on about 13k miles on myself. I am doing the plugs when I do the headers soon, I also have replaced the timing belt on the car. Any recommendations on other maintance that should be taken care of at this point?

You could do a trans flush if it never had it or hasn't had it in very long, along with new trans filter (if its auto). Fuel and throttle body service or emissions service (basically the same thing). And anything else you see that needs some taking care of.

x2. my 02 is at 130k and still running strong. she needs a tune up but everything seems good otherwise.

well, today me and another guy were tinking around changing the oil and putting both my windows back on track properly grrr. My pulleys seem toneed to be replaced. another not so good thing I noticed is that my anti-freeze seems to be oily, I looked at some other threads on oil in the antifreeze but they are all for v6s. My buddy is saying I need to face the reality I may have a blown head gasket, I am of course in denial also if I replace the pulleys should I go with aftermarket or OEM?

My car is sitting at 99,800 right now. I plan on rebuilding the engine at 150,000.

yeah i plan on doing a rebuild...just in about 2 or 3 years when I piled on some more mileage and am outta college with my real job. If i have a bad gasket tho the rebuild will come prematurely, thus causing me mucho headaches.

It's up to you for pulleys. Just don't get under driven pulleys. The anti freeze does become brownish after a while so it may just be that. You could always pressure test it to make sure it's not a blown head gasket. Change your diff oil if it hasn't been changed. Look at your u joints aswell. Check out all your bushing and make sure they are still good. Change you fuel filter aswell. Other then that just have a good look over.
