Default Car won't start unless door is open!

I have a 1995 camaro that will not turn on unless one of the doors are open. It turns on fine when either one of the doors are open, but if not, it acts as is the ignition key isn't being turned all the way. The car was handed down to me by my brother, he had an alarm system installed into it, I don't know if any of the wiring was messed with when it was put in.

Were door jamb switches added, or did the alarm tie into the existing ones? Could be they got some wiring bass-ackwards.

I'm honestly not sure, but I don't think any switches were added in. I don't even know how to tell.

Like the other guy said the problem is in the wireing for that alarm...In a shop I used to work at the People that did the install were young and hadent had a lot of training and Ive seen crazy problems like that befor. I once saw a car that would stall out if yo opend the passenger door my advise would be to have a pro look at it someone that not only installs alarms but does other wireing as well it can be costly but not as much as burning something up and possibly jacking the whole car up......

Of all the issues that I have researched for my Z28, yours wins!
