car from hell...no spark or fuel 3.4v6
got bupkus for a response on the v6 side of the forum so will try this before i give up...
replaced eng with junk yd 85K miles and no spark or fuel pressure...
replaced the following: wires and plugs, both crank sensors and cam sensor, oil pressure/fuel cutoff sensor, and swapped coils and ignition module with a known one that worked...
security lite comes on with turn of key and goes out in approx 2 seconds...
check engine lite is on...
continuity check of all wires from ecm to all critical sensors was good...
pink wire at ignition input of ign module with key on lit up with tester...
replaced fuel filter and pulled tank (twice) and checked fuel pump and it "works" but not much pressure...maybe because of undiscovered problem as stated in heading...
dont want to spend $180 for new pump til I can get a spark...
car sat for a year with blown head gaskets probably worse stuff which is why i swapped motors which i did thru the top and was a nightmare...never will i do that again...plus the little lady it belongs to is cute but not that cute...doing all this gratis and will probably never do that again...too old at 62 to keep trying to help those in need...cant even enjoy my florida retirement...
any ideas will be most appreciated and there is probably a few things i did that i left out due to my "oldtimers" affliction...oh i did have to put on a new "screen filter" on the fuel pump at $31 which made my eyes roll back once or twice for the cost...
help you camaro lovers...

check to make sure all the sensors are connected and connected correctly, or it could be that the computer isn't the correct one or is non-functional, that's all i can think of unless the engine isn't getting any power. you can try to bypass the starter, which is kinda bad but it will show you if the engine cranks.
its a 94 with the same type of engine (3.4 v6)...
the sensors are in correctly...and connected
same computer,no change...yard engines dont come w/computers
engine cranks fine...just no spark or fuel flow...

What tests have you performed. I wouldnt start trowing money at it till all other potential problems have been ruled out.
I have a feeling the security key will be the issue. Dont give up yet...

have u tried to spray a little gas or as a last resort starting fluid in her at the tb. that would isolate it to a spark problem to begin on. it still could be both but at least u would know its not just a fuel problem.
