Default car audio question

can rca cables go bad causing the amp to go into protect mode? while my system is playing, i plug in the rca cables into my amp and it immediately goes into protect mode.

Turn the system off then plug them in. It goes into protect mode if it's on so it doesn't over load.

either way it goes into protect mode. one day, it just decided to go into protect mode so i turned the system off then back on and still protect mode. i also tried two other amps besides mine and they do the same thing. all of my fuses are fine

Make sure you have a good thick ground for amp to body of car and check remote wire to amp.
