The only reason I said that is because I looked at a few other forumns and that's what some of theirs were... But I did have mine replaced about a month ago, so I was just throwing that up to see... I'll prolly just bring it in to the shop this week and have them take a look

awesome. Where we will be able to help from there is to tell you if the quoted price from the shop to fix it is fair and reasonable

I have issues with the original post. Was it a V6 or a V8? I think the Buick was running a supercharge V6 at that time and I think it was a 3.8 Series III.

What motor is it?

Sorry for the late response, I forgot that I didn't put the solution on here for the car. Good news is that like I said the problem was found, bad news is I need a new motor. I don't remember word for word my mechanic said, but he was able to move the crankshaft back and forth. He said that's probably why my car needed a new torque converter along with a new belt tensioner.
