Default Broken high/brights switch

Hello all. Recently took off my steering wheel on my '02 SS Camaro to replace the ignition lock cylinder, and in the process, (come to find out later) broke my 'brights' switch on the turn signal control lever. I remember a piece falling out, but not sure where it went, and figured it was broken. I can get a picture of it later. After putting everything back together, the brights no longer click, and no longer come on.

Does anyone know the part number/what I need to do to fix it? Can I fix this without taking the steering column back apart? I know you can just pull the lever out, and there is a cover behind it that you can also take out to get somewhat inside there.

Thanks.

are you sure the arm that goes down the colum is still connected? if the same as a lt1 the swich is down at the base fo the colum where it is bolted to the dash and a arm goes up the colum to the blinker assembly.

Don't know. Everything on the arm works except for the brights. Blinkers, wipers, etc. Here's some pictures of the part that fell out, and don't have a clue where goes. Can't tell if it's broken, or if it just slips into place somewhere.

yah im having the same issue as you. all the info i can find is for a lt1 and not the ls. it sure looks like it could be the mount for the arm. i think your going to have to pull the dang thing apart again. try to find a factory service manual for your yr. this is what they look like, im sure the digital ones are cheaper.
