Default Best Shorty Headers

Live near Portland Oregon & have to DEQ my car/96 Z28 LT1, so I'm leaning towards shorties/shorty headers. Looking for ease of installation/lol & performance. I have hooker shorties on my carbed 84 sbc 305 & they are great. My experience w/Headman was a disappointment. My car has 2 cats & Flowmasters/not a big fan, but it came that way. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks

I was looking at bbk's shortys for ls1, its shame the lt1s are limited with the obd1 they could use some long tubes. ls1 cars have the advantage of being able to get through with long tubes after some tuning.
