Default auto to Man

I'm just curious right now. I have a 2000 camaro with the 3.8 v6 and a 5 speed tranny. However, due to the poor driving skills of a 16 year old girl it is now being totalled by the insurance company. I am looking at getting another 4th gen camaro V8 of some sort, but all I see for sale around my area are automatic. WOuld it be ludacris to try and take the auto tranny out and replace it with my old 5speed?

well you can if you want, but the 5 speed wont hold up very well at all, which is why they used the t56 six speed. If you want a manual just keep waiting and searching, it will cost you around 2k just to do the swap, so i say just be patient or stick with the auto.

The 5 speed from the v6 would not last long at all on the v8. You would more than likely break it the first time you got on it.
