Default Anyone on here have a B&M Ratchet Shifter?

Let me know I'm kinda interested in this and I'm wondering what all needs to be done or if you just simply get it installed and you're good to go. I would appreciate it if you told me which kinda you had also. I'm going towards the Hammer Shifter with the leather boot and a ball **** (cause the t handle is ugly). Let me know Btw, I have a 1999 Automatic V6. If you have the same year Camaro and engine size and you've had this modification done then I would love if you gave me the details of it

Why are you wanting to put this in your car? They will not fit with the console, the factory unit is cable controlled (not sure if this shifter can be cable controlled or not) and also this car does not have much room between the trans and tunnel if it has to go through (like others I have installed in cars from the 60's). If you are thinking about using it to race shift your car you can almost forget about that. The trans will not manually shift unless the PCM has been programmed to manual shift (takes a tune and shift kit to get that done). There are options to change your shift ball if you want, I seen a linky around here the other day about it.
