97 Camaro wheels and tire complication

Default 97 Camaro wheels and tire complication

I currently have a complication i found great wheels and tires but i am not sure how a 9 inch wide rim will fit on a 97 camaro and if the tire will rub the frame or any other things if you know the answer or have any other suggestions message me thanks Rim 17x9 tire 245/45/17 the backspacing of the wheel is 6.00

I run an 18 9 1/2 with 275/35/18 and have never rubbed. I cant remember the offset off the top of my head. Hope this helps

Yeah the offset is what determines the fit, not the width.

Im sure they will be fine,

i run 18" with 255s on, and the offset pushes the wheels way out (think its +20, but dont quote me on it), there BMW m3 alloys.

Anyways people can run 3115 with right offset and not have a problem, if you car is not lowered you'll be fine with whatever.

can you try the wheel before hand just t give you piece of mind?? It depends how you think, mine were ok then i lowered the car and it scraped so i just cut the arches, no biggie.

The width of the wheel isn't going to be a problem. You can run up to a 9.5" in front and 11" out back. That said, the wheels are going to need to have the correct offset. My wheels are 17x9.5 with a 54mm offset.

I am running 275/45-17 tires on 9.5 inch wide rims all the way around and have never rubbed. I am running +54mm offset Z06 wheels
