Default 94 lt1 stutters upon acceleration

okay so i'll be driving down the road and i get on it for whatever reason(from a roll). problem is that when i hit the gas it kinda stutters once or twice before accelerating. whats up? can anyone help me out? the ONLY "modification" i have on it is a vortec aluminum intake elbow and a k&n air filter.

you could need a tune up, new plugs and wires or it could be the optispark

i've only had the car for 10,000 miles, so i've never done a tune up on it or changed the optispark. from what i understand, its a pain in the *** just to change the plugs. what about the optispark?

The opti is even more of a pain, we'll just leave it at that. Before you go about replacing the opti, usually if you're having a problem with the ignition system it will start to stumble in the top end when there's more stress on the ignition. Your problem could be many things, although common items to check for would be a vacuum leak (check all the connections to your intake elbow and make sure all the clamps etc. are tight and all the seals are good) or you could have an EGR valve that is leaking/stuck open.
