Well, yes and no. The ECU was rebuilt about 4 or 5 months ago but it wasn't tuned for anything performance related.

I'm also looking at my sensor readings when it let's me. BAR at 103 kpa in Florida at sea level? Shouldn't that be 30? That makes the MAP read 30 kpa. I tried 2 different map sensors and same thing on both. Fuel trims are high as well. Bank 1 in the high 110s to 120s and bank 2 at 108ish. I did replace the passenger side o2 but the driver side is on its way out I'm guessing. The reading on the DS o2 is narrower overall when I chart it on scan9495 than the PS one. I know the fuel trims aren't related to the intermittent vacuum problem likely.. Just thought you might have some input on that aspect since you my resident expert. I need you on speed dial craby lol

this is the prom with an adapter for tuning hooked to it. if when you open the ecm you see something like it between the prom and ecm then you have a tune of some sort.

weird stuff goin on, you may have a bad opti. new opti's have been known to fail. what brand is it? otherwise it sounds like something in the computer may be unhappy. check the aic to see if its clean.

Autozone brand. Figured I'd take the chance on it. Haven't gotten any Opti codes since replacement a month or two ago and the car runs fine aside from the intermittent issue.

Well i took my ECU apart and no I have the blue and brown thing but no additional adapter. That said the actual prom was loose and wiggled freely in its connector. ECU circuit board is good no burnt out spots

make sure the prom is in all the way, there are lever sorta things on each side that lock it in place. check plugins to the ecm make sure they are all undamaged and ok. look inside the plugs/plugins to be sure.
