OK here's history I own a 96 rs 3.8 and it will run fine cold and hot but when I shut it off it won't start I replaced half of the ignition components finally bought proper testing equip, realized its firing fine so I waited till problem arose threw fuel pressure gauge on it was next to nothing replaced fuel pump/filter all good till today 2 days since pump replace and it did it again I pushed schrader valve it was like releasing pressure on a tire finally some fuel come out I tried to start it nothing,I pressed valve again air/gas pressure. Is the air in fuel rail normal?????????? I could also smell gas heavy when I got it started and drove home.

 

its a pressurized system so if air gets in the system its at the pump. whats the gas gauge say? my first 93 ran out at a little over 1/8
