Default 3.4 idle issues

Hello! I recently bought a 93 3.4 from a friend. He absolutely loved the car, and rebuilt the engine a few years back. He ended up buying a 2012 SS, and his apartment complex was going to tow his fourth gen since he never moved it after getting a newer and more fun car, so he sold it to me. I'm absolutely in love and so happy to own it, despite it not being in the best of condition. I have noticed that it doesn't always like to start without a little help with the gas pedal, and it seems to idle very low, after warming up for a while, it'll go idle from 500 to about a grand, just seems to do its own thing. It also reeks of raw fuel when running. I was just wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what it needs to be smoothed out? I am thinking that part of the issue comes from having it sit for a decent amount of time, as he moved here to Arizona from Wisconsin, but had it delivered down here after about six months. I am thinking that the throttle body needs a good cleaning as well. I do know it does have a decent exhaust leak, due to the manifold not being bolted down completely. I am just without tools at the moment and unable to get that taken care of. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with this motor and has any suggestions.

I just discovered that the injector fuse calls for a minimum of 9 amps, but it had a 5 amp fuse. Replaced that, noticed she's starting a little smoother.

fix that exhaust leak first and see what that does.
