2000 v6 Mustang vs 1995 v6 Camaro
Driver ability aside, I took a 2001 V6 automatic Stang stock with my 2000 4.3L automatic 2wd Blazer, true CAI, full exhaust, tuned, with P205/70R15s.
He ran a 10.6 and I ran a 10.1 in the 8th. R/Ts were both in the .2-.3 range.
I would say it would be a close race, but the Camaro would win I think.

+1 on that but I always assume these questions are for the drag strip.
I would not assume someone posting in a forum would street race having read posts by members such as myself and others detailing how we have lost friends to street racing when we were young, immortal and basically..........dumb.

Absolutely right. What I was referring to wasn't so much street racing, as when car clubs get roads blocked off for a race night. Racing without proper supervision of the course, and with outside traffic coming through, is, as you said, dumb.
