Default 2000 camaro hesetation

We have an odd problem I just cant seem to figure out its an 00 camaro with the 6 cyl
auto trans.
When the car gets up to temp its bogs down like it will be in first gear go to step on the gas
and it will not accelerate over like 25MPH RPMs stay low dose not do it when its cold
so if i were to let it cool down all the way start it up and drive drives just like normal

soon as shes warm come to a stop light or sign go to take off and nothing give it more gas the more it sounds boggy.
any sugestions?

so far I have not been able to see if there are any codes, not sure if it could be the coil pack or maybe the TPS or maybe
the fuel pump??

If it happens when it's warm, and not cold, then sounds like you're dealing with the O2 sensors. When cold, the car uses a preset tableto determine how much fuel is used. It does this, since the O2 sensors are not accurate until they come up to temperature. Once they are up to temperature, then they are put into action. So coil pack, TPS, and fuel pump can pretty much be thrown out. How many miles are on the car?

Ok but I thought that when O2s fail the EEC goes into openloop
basicly defalting back to the tables and only thing that would happen is bad fuel milage and cause you to fail emissions?

Think of the O2 sensors as a nose, as that's basically what they are. When your nose gets stuffy, you can still smell, just not as well, right? Same thing with your O2 sensors. Your computer will throw codes when it O2 sensor is giving readings outside a certain setpoint. This lets you know: 1. O2 sensor is dead, 2. O2 sensor is so fouled it needs replaced, 3. Or something is causing car to run lean or rich.

I understand what your saying but what im asking is if there is a bad O2 sensor
wouldent the EEC go into openloop mode basicly when the vehical is warm it would
still read the tables still allowing me to get past 25MPH and still allow me to run the
RPMs up past 2000 2 things in which the car dose not want to do

It should throw a code when the O2 sensor is that bad.
