Default 010 block swap issues

Hey guys, I just picked up a 97. It had a v6 that was removed by the previous owners. I have an older 350 which is an 010 block and I have ran into some serious issues trying to figure out how to mount this motor into this chassis. I was wondering if any of you guys have done this before can just give me a quick little hint on what all you had to do before I pile a bunch of money Into custom parts and everything else made as that wasn’t really what this project was intended to be for. I’m also not going to buy a lt1 or an LS as I already have a motor out of my IMCA modified that I am using. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Check out the project section for people who have done this. Its a lot bigger project. You will need a V8 frame to start with. I don't think mounts are available. there is a ton of parts you will need. the biggest nightmare is that nothing inside the car will work. You will need to fabricate the whole gage assemble, rewire the heating system or fine on from a pre-body control module, rewire the power doors and winds. I think the lights are ok. There are a lot more people that start this project then ever finish it but I think we have a few who have finished.
