So me and a buddy got a grudge race coming up. I'm racing him in my 01 SS Camaro with a 6.0l engine with a 6 speed transmission it has hooker headers, 5.3l heads, full exhaust, no egr and a tune by efi live and some other stuff. His car is a 02 Ford Mustang with a 4.6l automatic with bbk cold air intake, bbk 70mm throttle body, and flowmaster exhaust.... What does everyone think? WHO will win.

 

well unless he is runin with nos you should win no problem. driver can make a big difference.

 

His car wouldn't even touch a stock ls1.....

1/4 or 1/8 mile?

on the 1/4, even spinning like heck a 4th gen will run it down and pull away. if you spin, he'll post a better 60 foot but on the 1/8 a 4th gen should still run past him. It all depends on the launch. I've seen guys mash the pedal and sit there waiting to finally hook
