I have a 91 z28 camaro and it's got the body kit on it. I was wondering if I could replace it with something other than that body kit because being a fire fighter, I bottom out/scrap the crap out of the kit and I don't wanna ruin the car by doing that.

Would I just be able to take it off and it would look normal or would I need something else to put there.

 

You would need to find some original body parts which you could get online (ebay etc...) or at a junkyard because the body kit most likely replaces the original parts like the fenders and the side skirts and the rear quarters. Unless there is a cheap body kit on it where it could just be attached to your original body. You might luck out.

 

you could remove the factory ground effects , but you will have to change the front and rear bumper covers for it to look right . then it will look like a Berlinneta or Sport Coupe. all the other peices are removable , but on the doors will have little studs that stick out that held the valances on.
