I'm just taking shot in the dark, I think that a 700R4 with a shift kit should work, or maybe a turbo 350 or a turbo 400

Turbo 400 is the only way to go. The 350 is decent, but may not handle the power. The 700R4 is a good trans for applications below 400 horses, but I wouldn't put anything more through it.

If your just on the strip a built power glid is a good chice, but the T-400 is one tough trany staight from the factory.

Yeah i was figuring i would upgrade from the th350 to the th400 just for the extra strength. So i guess ill stick with a the 400 with a shift kit and i think im going to make it a manual valve body. thanks for the help guys.

the 700r-4 has a lower first gear than a th350 or th400 . this one is rated at 650 HP. http://racetransmissions.com/store/p...roducts_id/195 ... Sick
