How would you be able to check the throttle position sensor?Just rebuilt my motor andit won't start... dont' know if it ever didran...don't believe the guy I got it from that it ran.I don't feel like throwing money at it to try and get it running. What should the electrical reading be when it's closed?

 

On a what???? A little info never hurts. But a TPS should not keep it from running. Try unplugging it.
But normaly back probing should give you half a volt closed and 5 volts WOT
