RS 350 engine swap help
Hi Guys,
i've got a 1991 305 tbi rs that i'm putting a 350 carb motor in and wanted a little advice!
The crate motor i've got my hands on has a mechanical pump fitted and i wondered what mods i would have to do to use it as i guess there's too many pipes running from the tank at present?
Also i would like to get some extra power from the 350 and was thinking heads(i have basic cast iron at present), but would you recommend standard gm vortec or edelbrock on a cost is an isuue as i'm fitting flowmaster, hedman etc and don't want to waste money, but also want to get good power!

Get the car running smothly before you atart thinking about power adders. Fuel delivery is one of the most commoonissues overlooked and underestimated when doing a swap like this. You will need a fuel pressure regulator to calm the pressure down. I have capped of the return pipe before and I have also ran the return through the carb - either way it works.
