the motor is also leaking alot of oil but i can't find where its coming from. its not from the valve cover because i can run my finger along the edage all around it and nothing. I can see it puddling on the block in the back by the bell housing to the passenger side under the distributor. could it be leaking from around the distributor?

 

check th oil pressure sending unit/sensor in the rear by the dist.if they crack they leak.also check intake gaskets them selfs.
