NonStart & Stall out problem
'91 RS 305 TBI
About 7/10 times I try to start my car it fails to engage the starter. All electrical works with switch on but no start. I can then put my window down, close the door and pull the key from the switch, wait for like 5-10 minutes and reach through the window and it will start . I think it has something to do with the security system, but Im not for sure.
Also, I can drive it for approx. 100 miles and the car will start stalling out. I can slip it into neutral, crank it, feather the pedal and when it clears up I can drive it for about another couple miles and it will do it again, and again. If I let the car sit overnight I can get about another 100 miles out of it and it will do it again.
Thanks in advance and any help will be greatly appreciated(especially on the stall out prob. I hate trying to coast over a mile long bridge while i try to get it back running)!
