My friend has a 1986 trans am with a 305 tune port injection but he blew his trany which is a 700r4. He would like to buy my 5 speed from me cuz i might buy a 383 stroker with a 5 speed trany for $2000. he would like to know what all has to be done in order to do a swop before he buys the trany from me.

 

I think you should keep the extra 5 speed as a spare, if you are getting a strong 383 with a 5 speed.

 

is the tranys the same for a 350 and a 305
